Located in the small coastal town of Santa Eulalia, the Hotel Aguas de Ibiza is an eco-hotel that offers the best of Balearic design, food and location. From the hotel it’s just 25 minutes’ drive to the Old Town, and it’s tantalisingly close to some of the island’s best bars and nightclubs.
The hotel’s facilities include a vast 1,500sqm spa, gym, sauna and steam room, and it can arrange all manner of tours and activities nearby if you want to get out and explore. There’s no need to look further afield for dinner either, as the hotel has three fantastic restaurants onsite. Michelin-starred chef Sergi Arola operates and informal tapas bar on the roof of the hotel, where you’ll find salt cod croquetas and fish carpaccio – all ingredients sourced locally, of course. Downstairs, Mediterranean restaurant Alabastro serves up modern Med-fusion menus and light bites – ideal for lunch.
Ecologically conscious, the hotel works hard to ensure it’s as sustainable as possible, with discreet solar panels on balconies and bedroom curtains which close when you leave the room to ensure they don’t get hot.

Where to stay
All of Hotel Aguas de Ibiza’s 112 rooms overlook the Mediterranean Sea and the beautiful promenade along the front of Santa Eulalia’s marina. The hotel has been imagined by two interior designers – Jordi Cuenca and Kim Castells – and you can see this influence on the rooms and suites. The design is cool and calm with lots of glass panelling, large mirrors and tactile furnishings, with a seashell above the bed to eliminate bad energy – according to Feng Shui.

Hotel Aguas de Ibiza’s rooftop cocktail bar opens from 10:30am until the small hours, so if you’re looking for somewhere to pull up a (designer) chair and relax, this is it. Unwind in the shade of the rope-strung pergola and order inventive cocktails like the Ibiza Sling or the Romero y Julieta. What and Where to Eat
Three onsite restaurants ensure you’ll never go hungry. Choose from Michelin-starred dining, modern European flavours or informal buffet – though note there is also a stunning rooftop bar from which to look out across the neighbouring harbour with a cocktail in hand.
