With a warm climate that rarely falls outside of a comfortable 24 to 34 degrees and sunshine all year round, the Seychelles is a safe bet for a paradisiacal luxury holiday. Languishing in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa, the dreamy archipelago of beautiful islands is home to a bevy of stunning beaches and a veritable cornucopia of animal and marine life, such as the rare Aldabra giant tortoise, lumbering unhindered over the red soil of Curieuse.

With over 100 islands to explore there’s plenty of space to be found, especially if you’re a nature lover. The islands are covered in lush vegetation and an impressive array of flora and fauna, such as the ethereal jellyfish tree and towering coco de mer palm, with plenty more to be found beneath the waves. The water surrounding the Seychelles are a paradise for divers of all abilities, crystal clear and lined with rippling beds of sand. If it’s beaches you’re after then you’ve found nirvana in the Seychelles. Icing sugar soft, lapped by gentle waves and sheltered by swaying palms and striking granite boulders, it’s no wonder that many of the beaches have been voted among the world’s best. Praslin is home to the best of the best, including Anse Lazio, for which there just aren’t enough adjectives to do it justice.

To get an authentic feel for the Seychelles we’d recommend island hopping between the larger islands of Mahé and Praslin, as well as smaller atolls of La Digue and private enclaves like Denis Island and Fregate Island.
