Peter Island Resort & Spa

OVERVIEW

The 1,800 acres of Peter Island Resort & Spa takes up the entire expanse of Peter Island, languishing across one of the Caribbean’s most relaxing spots with two of the region’s best beaches at your fingertips. If you’re looking for space to unwind, Peter Island has plenty. Your little patch of paradise is cloaked in jungle and mountainous enough to make it fun to explore – but not exhilarating.

The island has played host to a varied and impressive list of past visitors, from the explorer Christopher Columbus to Blackbeard the pirate. The resort began life in the 1960s and has maintained its wonderfully romantic, laid-back way of life ever since, despite various refurbishments to spruce up its luxury accommodation.

Reached only by boat or helicopter it’s blissfully private but with no scrimping on the activities – there’s world-class diving, prolific picnicking, cooking lessons, horticultural tours and an enormous spa.

What and Where to Eat

There are two main restaurants on the island, serving Caribbean and Mediterranean cuisine. Watch the magical sunset at The Loop with a fruit and cheese platter, and of course your favourite tipple. For one night at least we recommend a private beach dinner. Lit with tiki torches, your private table nestles by the water’s edge.
